Choose the audio and text separately
A dubbed performance changes the spoken language. Subtitles provide written dialogue; captions may also identify speakers and important sounds. You can prefer one combination for a quiet film and another when watching in a noisy room.
Original language is a catalog filter
Use it to find Korean productions or Japanese animation. It does not list every audio or subtitle track offered by each service. Open the chosen offer to see the tracks for that edition.
Readability before the full episode
Try a short scene with conversation. If the player allows it, increase the text size or choose a background that stays visible over bright scenes. Make one adjustment at a time so the subtitle does not become harder to follow.
Timing or wording?
Subtitles for a dub can use different wording from a translation of the original performance. That is different from text arriving several seconds late. For timing trouble, check another available track or the player’s synchronization control.
